Overview
Overview
HUSORDA is a multi-tenant operations platform for beauty and personal-care businesses - barbershops, salons, spas, nail and grooming studios - built to replace the paper notebook, the cash register and the spreadsheet that most of these businesses actually run on.
One platform serves many independent businesses. Each one gets its own staff, customers, services, transactions, inventory and payroll, kept entirely separate.
The problem
A salon day is a chain of small, connected decisions: who is on the floor, who is free, who is serving whom, what was done, what was collected, what commission is owed, what product was used.
Most businesses hold that chain in a notebook and in memory. The money is counted at the end of the day, commission is calculated by hand, and nobody can answer "how much hair colour did we use this month" without guessing.
One platform, many businesses
HUSORDA separates the platform from the businesses on it. A platform administration layer provisions a new business in one guided flow - business details, first branch, owner account, currency, language and operating settings - and creates everything that business needs in a single transaction.
Inside a business, the roles match reality: Owner, Supervisor, Staff and Customer. Staff see their own work and earnings; they do not record their own sales or clock themselves in. The reception desk does.
The floor is the product
The operational heart is a live floor board, deliberately separate from the dashboard. It answers one question at a time: who is waiting, who is in service, which professionals are free, on break or booked.
Walk-ins and appointments sit side by side, with the walk-in queue defaulting to first come, first served and appointments clearly distinguished. A single visit can span several services with different professionals, and checkout credits each of them correctly.
Money that reconciles
Checkout is built for the reception desk: find or create the customer, review the services and providers, apply an authorised discount, take payment by cash, bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash, and close the visit.
Behind it, HUSORDA keeps the day honest - opening cash, sales by method, expenses, expected closing position and an end-of-day reconciliation with the difference recorded. Salary and commission are first-class: commission rules are configured per service or per staff member, and payroll moves through draft, review, approval, finalisation and payout, with the record immutable once final.
Inventory that follows the service
Services carry recipes: a colour service expects a measured amount of colour, developer and shampoo. Completing the service records expected consumption, actual usage can be adjusted, and the owner can compare the two - which is how waste, reorder points and true cost per service become visible.
Built for real salons
The app is Android-first because the desk staff hold a phone, with the same Flutter codebase intended to reach Windows desktops later. The interface ships in seven languages including Urdu and Arabic with proper right-to-left layouts, and light and dark themes are driven from settings rather than scattered switches.
Outcome
A single operating system for a beauty business: the floor, the money, the people and the stock in one place - and a platform architecture that can carry the next business without rewriting it.
The Challenge
Beauty businesses were running a full day of operations through a paper notebook: appointments in one place, sales in another, commission calculated by hand at month end, and no reliable answer to which products were consumed or how much. At the same time, one installation had to serve many independent businesses without their data ever mixing - and the reception desk needed something fast enough to use one-handed during a busy shift.
Our Approach
We designed the platform as multi-tenant from the start, with a separate administration layer that provisions a new business, branch, owner and settings atomically. Inside each business we modelled the real day: opening cash, staff clock-in and breaks, a first-come-first-served queue alongside appointments, multi-provider visits, and checkout that resolves to commission and payroll. Inventory was tied to services through consumption recipes, and the app was built Android-first with localisation, RTL and light/dark theming from day one rather than added later.
