Social Media Management Strategies That Work

AT Aumenso Team

Overview

The accounts that succeed are rarely the most creative ones. They are the ones that still post in month four.

Social media management is an operations problem before it is a creative one: a schedule that survives a busy week, a format that can be produced repeatedly, and a clear idea of what a good month looks like.

Decide what the account is for

Three different jobs get confused constantly: being discovered, being trusted, and being remembered. Pick the primary one per channel.

  • Discovery belongs to short-form video
  • Trust belongs to proof: work, process, results, faces
  • Memory belongs to consistency: the same visual system, the same rhythm

Build a rhythm before a calendar

A month of posts produced in one session beats a perfect plan that never ships. The practical structure:

  • One filming or capture session a month
  • Three content columns: educate, prove, invite
  • A weekly slot per column, so the account never goes quiet
  • A monthly review of what earned saves and replies
Consistency is a system, not a personality trait.

Design for the feed, not the portfolio

Posts are seen at a glance, mostly on a phone, often in a hurry. Text large enough to read at thumbnail size, one idea per post, and a visual system that makes your posts recognisable before the name is read.

Measure what leads to money

Follower counts are the least useful number available. Track saves, shares, profile visits, replies and enquiries. If reach rises while enquiries do not, the content is being seen but not trusted - usually because nothing on the account proves the work.

Handover matters

If the account only works because one person holds all the context, it will stall when they are away. Document the formats, the asset library, the posting slots and the approval step.

Outcome

A social presence that holds its rhythm, looks like the brand, and produces conversations rather than only impressions.
